Azimuth video servers as a part of mobile on-Air TV complex
The major hardware components of the integrated system were Azimuth video servers produced by BRAM Technologies company. These multi-channel servers are widely used in stationary and mobile TV units throughout Russia and proved to be the most reliable. In this project Azimuth were used for audio-video materials recording and playback, as well as for channel branding. Capabilities of one video server allow simultaneously record and broadcast up to 16 channels. Each channel can be controlled separately, either manually or from playlists. Playback servers have built-in RAID-6 array with 6TB storage capacity. The complex used XDCAM HD422 (50 Mb/s) file format. Moreover, among the key features of the Azimuth video server are IP-broadcasting and 4K content support.
In addition to the Azimuth video servers, a significant part of the stand was devoted to the BRAM Technologies’ software demonstration (read more about BRAM Technologies solutions at IBC here).
Presentations of speakers from system integrators companies
Joint Russian stand attracted not only Russian visitors of IBC, but also representatives of foreign broadcasters. In addition to software and hardware solutions demonstration, speakers from the Russian integrators companies held daily presentations. They covered the situation on the Russian broadcasting market, showing the current statistics of domestic and foreign software and hardware installations.
Moreover, the BRAM Technologies company presented its new corporate video. It was shown along with the other participants’ videos, colorful views of Russia and Russian sport events on a specially installed video wall.

Recently, we have made a lot of installations. Not so long ago we have implemented a major project for the regional branches of VGTRK, where almost 100 Azimuth video servers were installed.
