AutoPlay, when used as a playout automation system, can insert subtitles into channels playing out from Azimuth videoservers. It now has support for Unicode subtitle files, the format and codepage being automatically determined upon import. This way we can guarantee that the system will work correctly with subtitle texts created in all the world’s languages, and a number of our customers are already broadcasting subtitles in their national scripts.
